CURRENT EXPERIENCE

NJEA Executive Committee Member

August 2021 – Present- Represent Atlantic County as a member of the New Jersey Education Association Executive Committee to ensure that our members' voices are heard when decisions are being made- Serve on the 2025/2026 NJEA Strategic Planning Committee to transform and update NJEA's Vision and Mission Statement- Serve on the NJEA Affinity Group Taskforce- Initiated NJEA Executive Committee Leadership Study Program utilizing Brene Brown's "Dare to Lead"- Create and manage the yearly calendar for the Atlantic County Council of Education Associations (ACCEA)- Coordinate and communicate with Region 1 Uniserv for yearly county workshops and events, including submission of required paperwork for approvals and reimbursements- Coordinate ACCEA Delegate Assembly Representatives

September 2021 – PresentCoordinating with the NJEA Budget Committee and staff to:- Prepare and recommend an annual budget for consideration by the Delegate Assembly- Examine trends related to membership growth, revenues, and program expenditures- Review expenditures within cost centers for compliance with D.A. policy- Submit recommendations to the Delegate Assembly or Executive Committee, as appropriate, for transfers between cost centers- Review the auditor's report on all NJEA accounts and expenditures- Review NJEA investment policy and capital assets

NJEA South Caucus Chair

September 2025 - Present- Create agendas and chair meetings for South Jersey Caucus

NEA Representative Assembly Delegate

2015 - 2024- Elected to represent the members of NJEA at the annual National Education Association Representative Assembly- Facilitate member informational sessions about the NEA RA, including how to become better informed and more engaged
